Each day brings more change and I’m wondering how you’re doing with it all. It’s just so much to absorb, so surreal, isn’t it?
I painted this picture thinking…. there are so many shades to life aren’t there. Moments of hope and prosperity and moments of despair and loss. Kudos to you for those moments where life is working with you. Cherish them.
As a rule, I like to focus more on the positive, it just feels better vibrationally. But I’m no stranger to an anxious mind still searching. I can relate to your loneliness and fears about the future and my heart aches with helplessness. Would it help even the slightest if I said, you’re not alone? I imagine it would for a moment, but having experienced enough despair of my own over the years, I know my inspiring words would be short-lived and may even cause more frustration and upset. I believe the best thing I could do right now is to just sit here with you…. and honour the loneliness… and maybe even fears that occupy your mind.
It took me years to do this type self-care well. Many wouldn’t call it that tho, they’d call it, wallowing, self-pity or self-absorbed. When people, even professionals, get uncomfortable with emotions, they can’t think of any else but…. to label them.
To allow yourself to feel what you’re feeling, without judgement, is no easy task. I believe it’s necessary to heal ones biology. We’ve been programmed to brush it off (women especially) or sweep it under…and yet, what I know for sure is, those feelings and emotions don’t go away unless we give them the space and time they need to breathe. So breathe with me. Weep with me. Mourn with me… and love with me. Namaste✨
Love and light to you dear one. Love and light.
